Tune in...
Tune in to the nuances of Blues expression and ensemble playing. In the relaxed and oh so bluesy atmosphere of the Juke Joint Chapel, you will jam, record, listen and learn with the focus on deepening your personal connection to musical expression. No distractions. No limits. Five days of nothin’ but the Blues.
An authentic experience…
In the heart of the cotton fields, just a mile and a half from the Crossroads, the Shack Up provides a totally authentic setting and feel. You will learn various aspects and styles of authentic Blues Guitar and Bass playing at varying levels of technical difficulty. This will include acoustic and electric playing, playing with a flat pick, fingers and a slide, along with Blues ensemble playing concepts which you will be given ample opportunity to try out in practice. All of this in a casual and fun environment in a community of others with the same interests. There will be 1 coach to every 5 or 6 attendees, offering ample opportunity for individual attention.

The cost of your 5-day Guitar/Bass adventure is $1295, with shacks and catered meals additional. There will be a few double occupancy units available for $50 per night per person.
